From what I tried so far, it seems the easiest of all areas so far for Veteran difficulty. If I had to recommend which dungeon area to start with, I'd say the Ruins. Ruins for example have a lot of human and unholy enemies, so trinkets boosting damage against those help a lot.Īlso, start with short runs. Likewise, you can improve your heroes via trinkets. For example a Hound Master I found not to be too good in a Cove, where most enemies have bleeding resistances, but he's perfect for a Weald. You might have to pick the classes that are better suited for each area. Knowing your dungeon area also makes a big difference here. ![]() Among skils especially prioritise upgrading those you use the most, like Vestal's healing skills for example. ![]() Upgrading weapons, armour, and skills to level 3 helps a lot. My first Veteran run ended in disaster (lost a hero and had to abandon it before any others died too). ![]() They do seem like a huge step up in difficulty at first, but it gets better eventually. ![]()
